Chef Anatoly Kazakov, one of the most revolutionary chefs in Russian gastronomy, will be cooking at restaurant Wils in Amsterdam on 21stand 22ndof March. Chef Anatoly, collaborating with chef Joris Bijdendijk, Erwin Oudijk and Friso van Amerongen. This collaboration, not to be missed, will be hosted by the team of Wils for lunch and dinner.

Kazakov, most revolutionary Russian chef in the world

Kazakov is one of the most progressive Russian chef in the world. He started his career in renowned restaurants of Italy, soon after he was awarded the ‘Silver Triangle’ in 2012, became ‘Best Young Chef’ and six months later he reached the finale of the ‘S. Pellegrino Cooking Cup’.

Chef of the Year

Since 2014, Kazakov has been the chef of restaurant Selfie in Moscow, from the White Rabbit Familygroup. Selfie, was listed as number 65ofThe World’s 50 Best Restaurants2019. Since 2018 they have earned 4 of 5 chef’s hat in the Gault&Millau guide and he became ‘Chef of the Year’in the same year.

A master with charcoal ovens

Chef Anatoly is proud of the Russian product. His style can be defined by simplicity, elegance and pure flavors. Where traditional and local products are combined with modern techniques. Kazakov is the master in preparing food in charcoal ovens. He lusts over aromatic flavors and longs for the textures smoke gives to his selected produce.

Russia boosts enormous amounts of diversity in its vast lands. Once a year, chef Kazakov meets with his produces where they discuss the upcoming seasons and the availability of products. He keeps a very personal relationship with the farmers who produce for his restaurant. Kazakov works with approximately 20 producers across Russia. On this menu, you will see products from differing regions of Russian.

We request a credit card authorization to guarantee the reservation for groups of 5 guests or more. We charge €50 per person for cancellations for lunch after 10am and for dinner after 3pm on the day itself and when one or more guests do not show up.

The Olympic Stadium parking garage is easy to reach from the A10 and is open 24 hours a day. The entrance is on Laan der Hesperiden.
